Mark Minenko, local lawyer and former MLA in the Manitoba Legislature, will share his investigation into the detainment of Ukrainians in Alberta during WWI. Of interest to genealogists and historians alike, Mark will use specific individuals’ stories to demonstrate how to find and use this informationat the Provincial Archives of Alberta, as well as other archival sources across Canada.
